Player Spotlight
Brenton Christopher Lengel is a playwright, poet, actor, and an Appalachian Trail 2000-Miler. He holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Kentucky where he trained under New Dramatist’s Alumnus Herman D. Farrell and Kentucky Poet Laureate Gurney Norman. Brent’s first full-length play, Trojan Men was selected as a semi-finalist for the 2010 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. His second play North to Maine won first runner-up in the James Rodgers National Playwrights Competition. His play Mic. premiered in the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival to rave reviews and received an extended run at Manhattan Theatre Source.
